Donna, maybe Ross needs counseling to help him. I know what it's like to have one that doesn't seem to do well. My Krista was like that and even worse. Now she's got about a year left in getting her Master's degree, so don't give up. Sometimes kids take longer. She didn't really start trying until I stopped helping her stay afloat

Jo, so happy to see you're feeling good enough for posting. When I read you're hemming pants, making meatloaf and being bossy with George, I know you're on the mend. I've never tried carrots in meatloaf, but I will next time I make it. My girls loved veggies, so I never had to hide them. Happy day to you, too!!!
Has anyone ever driven down route 66? Is it as big a deal as people make it ? We're trying to plan which way to go this summer.
I did when I was a kid. My dad would drive to California every year for vacation. Back then it was a 2 lane road. It was scenic, as I remember. Not like the interstate where it's

Donna, one good thing for you is that you are retired and can make the trip when you want to, not when your job lets you, anyways. Got to focus on the positives. When I go see Krista I usually fly. I don't think I'd like driving up all that way by myself. I really like it better when they come down here. There's something about seeing your

Hi, Donna. Glad to hear you're well, albeit sad about your son moving away sooner than planned. Their woodworking ambitions and moving to NM sure seems like a good plan for an idyllic life. It'll give you somewhere to vacation. I've know people who owned RVs and traveled most of their retired time and loved it. I wouldn't mind doing

Robin, I hope your students cooperate with you better for the remainder of the week. Thanks for that lovely prayer. Made me feel soft inside. It's not as cold here as they said it would be. I'm old enough to be thankful about that, lol. My daughter in Schenektady was expecting between 6 and 12 inches. I don't know how much she really got

Lillie, first of all, Happy Birthday to the love of your life! How great that you celebrated in such a romantic and special way. Second, I do believe you've become our most prominent workaholic, lol. I'm glad it's doing what you love. Godd luck with the training. I hope it's lots and lots of fun.

Robin I so don't envy you having another whole house and a barn to go through with your MIL. I'm praying for you extra energy so you can cope with everything. Hope your Saturday was a happy one.
