    I'm sorry for all those that have lost someone. My thoughts are with you. I spent last week in NC at my niece's. My sister and Her husband live there also. My sister has dementia and doesn't know who I am. I feel like I've lost my sister already. My niece feels like she has lost her Mom, too. I try to help when I can but I'm a 6

  • Re: what type of iron is a good quilting iron?

    I have my grandmother's iron that gets very hot and doesn't turn off. It's a Sunbeam and probably over 50 years old. I remember to turn it off by having it plugged in a power strip with an ott light I use. If the light is on, the iron is on. I turn off overhead light, but ott light is my reminder to turn off power strip. Diana in East TN

    That's right...you do all that beautiful hand work. I want to remind all the ladies about those quilt scraps that go into the pillows I bring. Please, Please....I will bring the pillow forms of different sizes, but if you would all do me a great big favor. Fill the forms from what you bring, if you bring any.... or take the forms home and fill them

    Susan, If you need a get away, I'm only 40 minutes from the Sara's lodge. You're always welcome to come and hang out here and we could sew all week and hit all the fabric shops in the area. I have a quilt studio that has a private bedroom, bath, kitchen and all the sewing machines and fabric you could possibly use. LOL I love to have people
