    I made this quilt for my husband who served in the U.S. Army from 1981-1985 and for both my sons Ryan who served from 2009-2012 and Tyler who is currently serving in Afghanistan.

    I would definately be interested in a 4 day and 3 night retreat in the fall. My youngest son is getting married in 2 weeks and we have to help move his new wife to Kansas where he is stationed at Fort Riley so money will be tight for us through the summer but by this fall I should have everything settled where I might be able to afford to go.   • Quilt Retreat

    I live in Elkhart Indiana and would love to organize an quilt retreat or just simply take part in one but I am not sure how to go about it. If there is anyone in the area that would be interested in this please let me know and we will see what we can do.

    Thank you all so much. She found out that her sister wanted them so I gave them back but Gini that was a great patter. I like that quilt. I guess I will just have to make my own.

  • What pattern do you think this is for?

    A friend of mine found 45 of the attached quilt blocks that her grandmother had pieced together and I am not sure what pattern she was trying to make with them. If anyone has any ideas please let me know.

  • Hand quilting

    When hand quilting how do you start your thread? Such as what do you do to hide the knot in the thread and keep it from coming through the fabric as you sew? I am quilting my first quilt by hand right now and having difficulty beginning my thread and keeping it hidden.
