Gorgeous bookmarks!! I tried tatting once but made a mess of it. I still have the shuttle... I do a lot of counted cross stitch. I also read a lot. In addition to various quilting projects, I am working on making a new purse. I also make tote bags for shopping, curtains, and garments. Occasionally I knit or crochet although I used to do a lot of both

Finally, the top is done! Now I need to find a suitable back for it. I really had a lot of fun with this. Thank you, Nana! I learned a lot and really stretched my comfort zone. Here's a pic - it wouldn't stay up on my wall so I laid it on top of my bed. Then, of course, one

Hi. All of the quilts are beautiful. I love them all! I have been thinking since we began that this would be a great pattern in a bigger scale.
Finally, done with Step 3, well, except for marking for the HST's. It is amazing to me that even being so careful through the cutting and sewing process that blocks can wind up so wonky ! I had to square & square again, and still I think some of the individual patches are a little off. Hopefully not enough
And Step 3 finished about a half an hour ago - those little nine patches are cute but I am happy they are done. There are 36 units here and I had to really concentrate on getting the right number done.
Looking good Marge! I've got a few of mine done but not all by a long shot.

Marsha, Sounds like you are getting a lot done! Can't wait to see your pics.

Sheila, sounds like a good solution. We just have one cat, a tortoise shell, or should I say she has us. :-) She always has to 'test' every quilt.

WTG Jen!! I love what you did with your block. The result of all of the fussing you had to do with it is wonderful. I love the way the howler is floating in the air above & between the books.
