Joy, I'm far from an expert on this subjet but are you using a stabelizer underneath your applique? There are several different kinds. I like the tear-away.

Thea, your tutorial was great but it just seems like alot of work. I like your last step....Putting the binding together at the end. Maria, These are not separte kits. They are from a "Leisure Arts" book. The artist is Paula Vaughan. I love her patterns. Yes, she does mostly quilts. She is a painter that uses watercolors and they adapted her paintings into cross stitch patterns. I have several of her books. This particular book does have 12 patterns and charts for each
