  • Here are some quilts I have just finished hope you all like them.

    This is a rag quilt just finished today 4/17/2010 for my step daughter Nettie. This is embroidered on each block with a feather quilting design, the dragon in the middle is embroidered on eight blocks 4 on the front and 4 on the back so if you turn over the quilt the dragon is in perfect detail on the back side of the quilt also.     I have just finished another quilt, the color strip quilt I started over three years ago and I will be sending the pictures tomorrow after hubby takes them. I also finished several other items on and off while doing this one. I will have many more to post soon and a special one designed by me and quilted by me for Valentines day. It will be a lap quilt

  • Finished rag quilt

    Well awhile back I talked a bit about my reversible rag quilt. Well ladies it is finished and I have posted it here for all to see.     Wow I wish I had known about this earlier, I just gave away to charity, senior home, fifteen boxes of material I had never used or liked I would have shipped things for free for all of you. I just cleaned out my old stashes before moving into my quilting cottage. Geeeeeeee!

    Ok guys I have finished the Butterfly quilt. This is my own original design, I started on this as a novice three years ago and put it off since I was so ashamed of it, but I finished it out of sheer panic that I had to finish what I started. I laid this design out free hand on typing paper in blocks with the design and then cut the material block by

    Hey guys how in the world off of the dashboard do you post a new message to Quiltoholics? I have to keep going into an old post then type it in. I am losing my mind. Oh well here is pictures of my cottage by 14 ft by 20 ft cottage built by my husband for his little lady. Tell me what you think.

    Have been out of the loop for awhile, surgery, then husband had surgery, then I had a relapse, then he had a cancer scare gosh, I hate getting older. Well here is a quilt that I finished for my grandson in my quilting cottage and it has a fringed border. He loved it and will not part with it as well as the first rag quilt I gave him a few years ago

    Althea, did you get the fat quarters I sent to you? The cottage is almost done, just finishing the lighting, and then the attic stairs, have to order blinds this weekend and then it is all finished. Have my maid vacuum the floor and steam clean it then I move everything in, it may take a week or so to move in and arrange things but boy does it look
