Such a Great Idea. I have many machines but of course I can only use one at a time. this allows us to match the shape of the machine with the cover. Love it !!!

how to convert a pattern to a different size?

Does any one know how to convert a 8 inch fabric panel into a 6 1/2 inch block? or better yet each photo( fabric panel) measures 8 inch square. I want to end up with a queen sized quilt about 120 by 120? any suggestions? The pattern is from thimbleberries beautiful quilt blocks.

You can also get alot of looking for ideas and inspiration on line. There are alot of online quilting patterns and sewing sites that offer free projects. Go through the qca PREMIUM perks, then go to the different fabric manufacturers which offer free projects. also Easy quilts does come on line with the membership. My membership has been the best buy

I also heard that buying 3 yards was the safe bet. but if you don't have a project ia always buy 2 fat quarters then I work from there.

HI - My plan for today is to work on hand applique for a door hanging for the fall. Does any one have a good saying to put on a small (7 inch wide) door hanger? Happy fall was one. Or Give thanks suggestions welcome.

sewslip

Has any one ever used this product called sewslip? I have been having an issue with my quilt not moving well when I am machine quilting. It often sticks. I saw this on line and was wondering if it is worth it to buy it.

Re: Stand for using cone or larger spools of thread

I have a stand that is weighted with metal covered in plastic and an aluminum arm. I use it for all sizes of thread spools. It has helped me in serging as well as sewing quilts. they aren't that expensive and live forever. Good Luck

Beautiful quilt. bargello quilts facinate me also but Ihave not tried on lately. the one I did finish, was a class on printing photos on fabric. My daughter keeps it in her room. What do you think of doing a bargello in shades of black and white?

I may not hop onto the web that often but I do read the forum questions alot. thanks for keeping this one going. I get lots of ideas on what to do next. Currently I am making Christmas items in July. I am about 1/3 rd done on my list.
