    I have a Janome 9000 which is great for taking to classes and retreats. I've had no problems at all with mine and not even needed to get it serviced. Its a great quilting machine.

    My primary machine is a Brother Duetta sewing/embroidery combo. I found that my machine bounced on some work surfaces when running at high speeds. I found the perfect mat for my machine - one of those high density mats you use in the kitchen to stand on.     I've heard of the Genie in the lamp, but not of a Gremlin in a steam iron! (lol). If you got a Shark (Europro) iron good luck with customer service - they suck - have an F rating with the BBB. I never buy expensive irons any more. They don't last any longer than a cheaper one and its just more expense sending them back. I have arthrities pretty
