I have a Janome 9000 which is great for taking to classes and retreats. I've had no problems at all with mine and not even needed to get it serviced. Its a great quilting machine.

I've heard of the Genie in the lamp, but not of a Gremlin in a steam iron! (lol). If you got a Shark (Europro) iron good luck with customer service - they suck - have an F rating with the BBB. I never buy expensive irons any more. They don't last any longer than a cheaper one and its just more expense sending them back. I have arthrities pretty

Hi Frances, I'm a Brit too but live across the briney in Washington State. Thanksgiving is very much like our Christmas...big turkey dinner with all the trimmings, pumpkin pie and/or other yummy desserts for afters, and time to get together with friends and family. Traditionally the boys sit around in the afternoon and watch one of the American
