Well I;m certainly glad that most of you got something for renewing. The only thing I got was ... ! That's right, NOTHING, EVER! Don't think I will renew again since it seems the people that run this arbitrarily decide who gets what and I seem to be forgotten all the time! Well not anymore!

Today is the quilt show in Livingston! YEAH ! It's finally here, after two years of planning and working on quilts for it. It's at the Jr Hi on the Highway so hope to attract a lot of people. I have a wonderful resource book that will give you whatever information you need. It is called "Patchwork Minus Mathwork" by Linda Causee and published by American School of Needlework. I purchased mine thru SoftExpressions.com , many years ago. I have used it so much that I now have it in plastic page holders in a loose leaf notebook. So

I would gladly take any rain you want to send our way. We are dry, dry, dry down here in east Texas. Today the wind is blowing a gale and tonight is supposed to freeze, yet again! Sure wish Spring would make up it's mind and stay a while before summer arrives with the humidity! Turned up the heat this morning for the first time in several weeks

So if you are not using fusible, it doesn't matter which side faces the quilt since they are the same on both sides. Unless you found something we know nothing about in which case you need to tell us all about it.

Hi and Welcome! How about a simple star pattern? Maybe with sashing maybe not, depending on how busy the fabrics are. Can you post pictures of the fabrics? I'm in the piney woods of East Texas, just east of Lake Livingston.

Hi ladies, I have used the backing fabric to bind some of my quilts, however, I do cut it and then make the binding, stitching it first to the front then turning it to the back ans stitching it down by hand. For me, the binding process is very relaxing. You could stitch it all my machine using the stitch in the ditch method, but I would make binding
