Stephanie, I hope the doctor can help you find out if there's anything else you can do about those pains. Three and a half hours! That's a very long time to be in severe pain.
He's sending me in for some heart tests. I've always discounted these to stress, because they've passed. I've

With this heart Linny and Diane completed with their handwork for the round robin. Diane applied the lace dove motif and added beads and crystals to highlight it, as well as the blue silk ribbon roses and leaves down the center, the vine with tiny pink french knots to the upper left, the vine with magenta lazy daisy stitches and french knots to the

  • Antique Wild Heart RR

I'm calling this antique because of the fabrics. Robin and Lillie's handwork appear on this block as part of our Round Robin. Robin did the top half framing the sewing machine with red, and a lovely bow, fashioning the pincushion with the tiny strawberry and measuring tape, lots of beads, the muse, silk flowers and the cutesttiny spool of thread

Doctor appointment for a physical today. Good timing because Sunday I had one of my occasional stress attacks that mimics a heart attack. Felt like someone shot me with an exploding bullet that radiated out my back. This one lasted for three and a half hours. Total agony. My youngest rottie (Gabby) came up and laid beside me and placed her paw in my

Donna, Poor kitties going through the remodeling. Poor you too. It'll be great when it's all finished though. Hope they do a great job for you. Jo, Good to hear from you. It's so sweet of you to make a cat quilt for your son and his wife. It is also nice that she is honest with you like that. I'd love to see a pic when you finish it. Coco is a hoot. Her natural cat instincts have kicked in to want to thump Rosie that way. It is fascinating to watch them focus on such things. I would

Robin, Welcome back to the new school year. I do pray that you have a year of smooth sailing, sweet memories and lots of learning. Sounds like the girls are getting the year together with the help of Mom and Dad. I'm sorry to hear the little boy drown. Tragic. I'll send some prayers up for his family. Enjoy your day. Hope the compression sock

  • Re: Hoping to make my dream quilt with a little advice :-)

You have some great ideas. The first place I'd start is with some sketches, and resources. If you put those thoughts on paper as drawings of even rough sketches it will be easier to visualize. What size do you have in mind? I have a link to utube videos that have lots of info and visual processes: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VcN1v8sVD-Y Quilting

Hi Hayley, There are so many ways to go about making an art quilt. Are you thinking of incorporating pictures? Maybe you could tell us more of your vision for this, or if you have a sketch we could help more. I searched the web for you, and the processes are all so unique it's hard to know what's best to refer you too.
