I quit when we got to the flying geese, just couldn't get one to work out for me. What was your way of solving that problem or isn't there a good solution?
Marie, I didn't come up with any good solution for them. They gave me all kinds of problems. I ended up having to trim down some of the other blocks

Since Patti pointed out that the quilt I finished this month for my niece does count in the challenge, I thought I would post the after picture here. It is from the Jodie's Sampler BOM that was started about 3 1/2 years ago. Finally finished it up about 2 weeks ago, and I am so glad to have this one done at long last. Finished size is 96" by

Patti, thanks for pointing that out. I guess I should learn to read more carefully. But anyway, that's good news cause since posting the quilt I intended to be my January UFO, I have realized I don't have the border fabric to finish it, so it will have to be for another month.

Karla, your block is done and will be going out in the mail later this morning. I am sorry it took me soooo long to do it. Life's just like that sometimes.

Thank you, Snowbird Quilter. The flying geese gave me fits and made it really difficult to get the rest of the blocks to fit together right. I am so glad this quilt is done because if I had to work on it any more it might never get finished. It took two nights, all night long, just to stitch down the miles of binding. It was started a few years ago when we started the Jodie's Sampler block of the month, so it took me about three years to finish it. It doesn't count for the UFO challenge because

Enjoy. http://www.quiltersclubofamerica.com/blogs/sabrinamc35983/archive/2013/01/10/healthy-recipes-for-2013.aspx The recipes are posted as files, and you'll have to download

Thanks Nana, this is a good recipe. I threw it together on the fly the other day, but it is very similar to all the other ones posted online by the same name. If anyone is interested, I have posted several recipes that I use on my blog. They are generally as healthy as I could figure out to make them without sacrificing taste. My DH likes them all if

Here are some recipes that I have created to address the problem of cookbook ingredients being too expensive and too hard to find. I tried to use common, inexpensive ingredients, but still make something good and healthy. A few of the recipes use stuff that can be found at any health food store, but most ingredients can be bought at any grocery store
