Sandy, I am with you! I just plain love to go barefoot and sewing barefoot is the norm. My Dad use to laugh because when we got home from church I took off my shoes before I took off my hat. I don't think that routine has changed a bit. I have always found that folks look at me funny when I take off my shoes in class but wearing shoes to sew feels

As I was considering a new project today and looking at fall colors, I began reflecting on the question - Is there a time of year I like better than others for sewing/quilting? My conclusion is that I find something special about each time of year, (i.e. colors of the season, snowy days, holiday fabrics etc.) to make that time of year the best for sewing

I find I use my FW so often that I have to remind myself to use one of my other machines. She is such a little trooper and I am sure that my FW is a she because she works so hard. Her name is Francine FW. I have seen Flossie and a couple of other names. Are others as nutty as I am and have a name for your FW?

Hi Nancy, I do get down in that area to visit friends once in a blue moon. This sounds like a good reason to plan a road trip.
