Here's a quilt top nearly ready for quilting; one last mitered corner to go. These are 12" blocks. I will either hand-quilt or maybe try machine quilting...something that is outside of my comfort zone.

Created this Dresden Plate applique using the EZ Dresden Plate acrylic tool. It fits nicely on a simple bag (New Look #6574) that I sewed using linen for the outer shell and cotton print for the lining. For more details and additional photos, visit www.calicoquilter.blogspot.com .
