Thanks so much, Jacy. That should work. Really appreciate your help.

I missed the basic instructions for this pattern. How can I get it? Thank you in advance.

I usually use a neutral for lighter fabrics such as gray, beige. I switch to a darker thread on darker fabrics such as dark gray. Appliques require matching threads. Siren

?Raspberry Jam" is beautiful. Haven't done a mystery yet--afraid won't like it, especially scrappy quilts from my stash. I really need to use up my stash; it's enormous! What's the secret to having a mystery come out a keeper? I'm guessing that even with scraps, the fabrics still have to coordinate???? Siren

The only answer I can come up with at the moment is that they keeping making beautiful fabric. Just when I tell myself I'm not buying anymore fabric "on speculation," I see something I just have to own and then, of course, something to go with it. So much fabric, so little time.

Hi Helen, I'm in my second year wtih QCA. Not too much with communicating on line, though. Been quilting for about 11 yrs. but still learning--there are so many aspects. Love to applique. Practicing to hand quilt so that stitches are even, but haven't spent enough time on it. Geared up for free-motion quilting, but yet to try it. Generally speaking

Thanks for the tip, Janie. That's been more of a problem of late. I just might have to break down and buy one with auto shut-off, but first I'll try your trick. Molly, Oregon

Yes I did. Thank you for the info. I have forgotten how I renewed last time (old timer's disease?). Please advise. Thank you. One more thing. About the poll, I just don't announce it when I bring fabric home.
