i was finally able to post my picture of my completed Farmers wife quilt. I did mine all in purple and lavender fabrics. This quilt will be for my husband and myself. Last year at this time I finished 4 dresden plate quilts for our children for Christmas presents. Now I am working on quilts for our 8 grandchildren. I have 4 done and 4 to go. So hopefully

I have been going through all the threads looking at everyones blocks. For being the same block, everyone's blocks are so pretty, love all the different color combinations.

WOW What pretty blocks everyone. I haven't done this block yet. I have been working them in the order they are in the book, I'm ready for #53.

Thank you everyone for the comments on my purple colored blocks. I try to get enough dark and lights to go together. I usuall purchase 1 yd of each so I have quite a few. Everyone's blocks are very pretty. Haven't been on much lately, been haveing the crud that seems to be going around in Iowa now.

The new block pattern by is Henrietta Whiskers (squirrel) the first block is quite cute. Should be an interesting pattern to do.
