  • Quilting a Wedding Band quilt

I'm wondering are wedding band quilts always stitched with a design in the middle and then a stitch in the ditch around all of the bands? Is there another way? I was thinking of a long arm quilter for the bands, but the estimate I got was around $300.00. Quilting a 108x93 is a little daunting! Okay more than a little.

  • Re: Are Quilt KITS KILLING CREATIVITY?

I have to say that I like some of the quilt kits. Occassionally, I see something that I want to copy. I want my quilt to look just like that one: sometimes the fabrics are the only reason I like the design. But more often than not, I like to pick out my own fabrics, even if they are close in color combinations to the pictured quilt, and cut my own pieces
