Good luck with this, jgiller. I've been a Charter Member of QCA, and all the problems they've been having have still not been fully resolved. This has been the most difficult website for members to negotiate. I have finally cancelled my subscriptions today and may resubscribe if they ever get their act cleaned up and become user friendly. • Re: EQ7 to be released June 15.

Just an FYI. QuiltUniversity.com has a series of EQ classes. I've taken all three with Fran Gonzalez, and she knows EQ frontwards and backwards. We all became addicted to the software and her marvelous instruction. It is so much fun when you know all the tricks and nuances of the software, things you probably would never learn just by reading the

  • Re: The Rainbow's End in Dunedin, FL

Aaahhhhh, haven't heard about Rainbows End since I moved from Tampa/Wesley Chapel in 2005. It is a quilt store to die for. I do hope they go online; I need another great resource to feed my online shopping addiction. I still have my completed punch cards to use whenever I get back there. Sure do miss it.

That's right, Kathy--Southwind Designs--they have lots of nice looking dimensional patterns. In fact, when I finished my Mexican Star (don't know why it's called that), I sent for several more of their patterns with the greatest of intentions. But, you know how that goes (or doesn't). In fact, ever since 2004, when I discovered I enjoyed

Thank you for your comments, ladies. Since this was a poor detail shot, I might post the full quilt on 'Show & Tell.' Gini, the blocks were somewhat labor intensive for a new quilter. The hardest part was quilting it on a regular sewing machine. I like it though; it's a very pretty quilt pattern.

Whoops! Still trying to figure out this website. I hit the 'preview' to preview my photo, but it posted. Duh. Anyway, this is a detail from my first quilt class in 2004; it's the Mexican Star. I didn't know I was doing a cathedral style technique on this, if that's what it is. The full quilt is 32" x32", and it's up

Diane and Marie -- Add one more munchkin to the bunch. I'm 4-11-1/2, but always say I'm 5 feet, unless I meet someone else who is 5 feet. Unfortunately, I live in south carolina, but I'm free to travel. :):) PARAGRAPH: In terms of table heights, I have four tables in my quilt studio that measure 60" long, 30" wide, and 28"
