QCA Mystery Quilt #4. When I saw the star blocks come together I knew I had to set them on point. My husband helped me re-design the lay-out in EQ and this was what we finally came up with.

Thank you Sandy for hosting another wonderful Mystery Quilt adventure for all of us! And its definitely been an adventure! When I saw the star blocks come together I knew I had to set them on point. My husband helped me re-design the lay-out in EQ and this was what we finally came up with. I think I'll keep it!

  • Re: odor out of material

I highly recommend "Smells Begone" - it is an odor eliminating spray sold at Big Lots. It has no scent of its own and is excellent at removing odors from just about anything. Great stuff.

[quote user="Patti"] So, here are the questions. Do you smoke? Do you snore? Do you have special needs, such as not able to do stairs, need a plug in for your C-Pap, need quick access to a bathroom? Do you need the least expensive option? There is one room that sleeps 6, one queen bed and 4 singles. (That would be the $70 for 4 nights.) There

CC, could you Tea-dye (or coffee-dye) the fabric to tone down the red? I don't know if that would work with the satin, but it might worth a try.

I am in Sandy. I have completed all three of the previous MQs and have been delighted with every one. Can't wait to find out what size this one will be so I can start planning who will get it when it is done.

I have the sewing room which is outside, and unheated, it is pretty much storage for my fabrics, tools and the machines not in use at the moment. I use the kitchen for ironing/pressing, the living room is where

  • Outer Space

Outer Space was made for my 8 year old son. He picked the pattern for the pieced blocks, he always picks the most difficult option that I give him to choose from. Had to use templates for the star points but it was worth it in the end. He says this is his favorite quilt I have made.
