THANK YOU so much Nana! I am going to try it again using these measurements, I am going to our daughters for three days and thought if I could get two blocks cut it would be a perfect opportunity to get them done when the kids are in school. I love the hand piecing but getting them cut out is another story. I am going to have to give in and buy the

Hi Cris, I only have the book too at this point and already I have run into a problem with the M-5 block as I want to match Jane's block not the block in the book. The picture is different than the pattern so I found a Dear Jane Tip site but the directions don't really look like some that have been posted already. Oh me, I think this sinus headache

OH MY GOODNESS ~ I know you won't be seeing any of my blocks, it sounds like you are all talking Greek: :) I just changed my keyboard and mouse over to a wireless one and was happy I could do that by myself. I REALLY, REALLY MUST take a computer class in 2010 so I can keep up! Barb

Wow it hasn't been that long since I've been on here, I can't beleive how fast the completed blocks are being posted~ how exciting! It is fun to see how the same block looks in the different fabrics. I am saving all the pictures in a folder and when my friend stopped over today I had to show them to her, I like going back and looking at

Love the daisies Jutta! I think I need to try the freezer paper templates, the block comes out great. I called a friend to see if her book had the pattern for doing the block this way but hers didn't either. I did find directions on a DJ tip site so now I can do this one tomorrow. Do you cut the freezer paper yourself or buy the sheets? I haven't
