I have just joined this group. Couldn't find a better place to ask a question that I need help with ASAP. I'm making laundry bags with applique on them for seniors from high school. I need some 2 1/2 inch letters for their names and can't find a place on the internet for free letters. Do any of you know where I can come up with some letters

I'm finally working on finishing my Sylvia's Bridal Quilt. It calls for 140 blocks, but I quit at 120, making 12 rows of 10 blocks each. Welcome to our wonderful network of quilting friends. You will learn to love us!! Keep quilting, it would make your Mother proud!

You can do it! About the ironing. I'm working on Sylvia's Bridal Quilt with 6 inch blocks. Everything is small. I got one of the little mini-irons

Thanks ladies for agreeing with me about crossing the lines! This seems important to me too. Don't we love it when others agree with us!!!

I've done some paper piecing before but I have a question. When sewing, do you cross the line at the beginning and ending of your sewing line? I have always taken 2-3 stitches past the line. On a show I saw on TV, they said to only start and stop on the lines. Yes going beyond does make it a bit harder to get the paper off, but it seems there needs
