    Jen, Wow what a great idea! I have thought of that as well, kinda like going to work and not having to worry about what isn't or is done at home.. I am excited to see what you do with your space! I'd like to see everyone else's sewing and quilting areas also!! Hug's Kathi Winter Haven

    Good morning to you all, it sounds as though we all had a difficult winter in one form or another, I am still trying to get over the"flu" I think they should call this something other than that! it needs a bigger name for whatever that was that hit me! But I am getting ready to quilt my fav top and I have been studying it for a few days trying

    Oh I thought everyone knows, the quilting police will come and get you if you don't use a 1/4 foot to piece and a walking foot quilt... tee-hee. I also have been known to use lambskin pads for feet ( Dr. Schowls) and cut them into strips and use for tape marking. they rise up a little more and easy and cheap to use. Sorry I haven't been on but

    Hi I have been down and out sick with that blasted flu bug, then just as I got better my Daughter needed help and is moving away to NC from Fl, and taking the grandgirls I love so very much. I am devastated . I went yesterday and picked them up from school and played all day until almost 8 pm and then drove back home2 hrs. so not much quilting getting

    I feel your pain, I had a problem like that and about went to the looney bin. what the solution was, for me, to lower my feed dogs a little as they were pulling my bottom fabric faster than my top fabric making it a little off. I also learned that I never cut anything "perfect" just a smidge bigger then sew then trim to perfection. All blocks

    My sister who is a "know it all" about machines and repairs them, she has all Bernina's, they have metal parts and last. I have Brother for embroidery and a Sears for straight stitching and normal sewing. I Love mine the sears one is so quiet I can sew at night and no-one complains unless I goof up and say something out loud! I hope this

    Is : maybe they would like someone to come in and shop and wind as well, you could call, My shop here would let you, and hope you would see something you would like and take it home with you ! Sorry I haven't been following along, My Hubby. got that icky flu and since he is such a loving guy he shared it with me. I am so gonna get him for this!

    Is, what did the Doctor say regarding your wrist? hopefully you came out ok. and get back into sewing soon! Debbie, I am thankful that the prayers are working for little Cody well maybe not so little but still special no matter how big!!     Hi, How do you like the sit down machine? I was thinking about a longarm and haven't decided which is best for me and my bad back. leg, arms, blah blah blah.. :) Let me know please. I had a huskavarna mega quilter which I liked the throat was to small so I was always having to reposition the rollers from the rack. but it did a great job! only problem
