    Dear Rachel, may I suggest that in a Round Robin group, it might be desirable to include a quarter to a half yard of any fabrics wanted in the borders. My guild did this and it seemed that it did two things. First, the final recipient was happier with the results and two, it saved time for each person as they had something to start with.     I will hostess again after January 1st. I was thinking of a 9 patch swap. Your choice of color with a white to be determined. I was thinking White-Color -White (row one), Color -White-Colir (row 2 and the White -Color-White ( row three). You could use 2 1/2 inch squares or strips, nine patches look great with Snow Ball Blocks or they could be used for

    I guess I miss the Round a Robins, having a lot of swaps and the other interactive things. I am in a wonderful guild, but it seems the vast majority are in sewing groups,, not open to the guild as a whole. It seems a lot of the ladies all joined the guild together years ago or attend something or another and know each other from those places. So...the

    My UFOs are about to drown me. My New Year's Resolution is to finish 2 UFOs for any new project this year! I finished the top of a quilt for an injured Israeli,solider. I used my Star Swap blocks. It is ready for the long arm. I will finish the Poppy blocks into a top and get them long armed as well. I must work on catching up with my Feathered

    Phosphates have been banned from US detergents for years except for special industrial uses. I remember the first ban when alge, fish and other water life were shown dying from phosphates in rivers and lakes.
