Toby, the top and the backing has to be the same size before you "sandwich" them, with the 1/4" inch seem lines marked on them. The batting should be cut 1/4" inch or so bigger than the top/back piece and will be trimmed after the quilting has been done. Baste with needle and thread around your sandwiched block and make sure that

[quote user="Lori"] I tried the freezer paper on the wrong side of the fabric, basted around them and then appliqued them on the square for A-3 Hunter's Moon. On the back of my block the circle looks wonderful....not so much on the front of my block. I'm still experimenting with methods. I would love to be able to machine stitch these

Hi Lori, I am ashamed, because I can't find the list with the assigned blocks and I am sure I am many blocks behind. Maybe you can re-direct me where you found the list. :)...lol!

Hi Lori, thanks for thinking of me. I am very busy with other projects and family. I haven't done any quilting for a while, but I have not given up on the DJ quilt and I am looking forward to doing more DJ blocks, probably be the beginning of the next year. Thanks, and have a nice

Scooter, what a beautiful quilt top. You did a great job! You could frame it like a picture and use your favorite colors from the quilt top or it. You could do a small inner border and a bigger outer border. Whatever you decide, it is beautiful.

Kris and Linny, your triangles look beautiful. Are you going to put a sashing around them?

Kris, Andrea, was the last recipient of the Goodie box and I have sent if off a while back. She should have received it by now. Haven't heard anything from Andrea either and this is not like her. Hope she is okay.
