Thanksgiving table runner that I changed around from an Eleanor Burns pattern. I decided to do the leaves by machine embroidery and make them three dimentional with batting between the layers of fabric.

I made this quilt after seeing the one in the magazine, but I decided to do machine embroidery instead of applique. I was able to find the border fabric in a store in Sierra Vista, AZ and my former neighbor who lives there got it for me.

I keep a pair of snips at both my sewing machine and next to my ironing board. That way once I'm finished sewing, if while pressing, I need to trim or cut a loose thread I don't have to go back to the sewing machine. I also keep two sets of magnetic pin holders.
