    I just came on to post about this very subject...my mother in law doesn't sew or quilt, but purchased blankets to send off to sandy victims at the shore...when she inquired as to who to address them to, she was told, 'we DON'T need BLANKETS and we DON'T need FOOD. what we REALLY NEED is CASH'. she was quite taken back. she didn't

    Barbara, it's not my parents who are in need. But thank you anyway! I'm familiar with unions....they might've been out-of-state, too, and not sure where to go yet. It looked as though they'd been dispatched from somewhere else.

    i agree with sukochi~i'd contact someone official if you want to send anything in this direction. we sustained no damage personally (part of my apple tree snapped off, but thankfully, it was in the other direction), but my son's gf's father moved 4 vehicles out of the way at their house...my son's vehicle was spared as a result, but
