The Rail and Fence moves fast and then there is just the Friendship Star which generally means alot to someone or the Railroad Block moves extremely fast.

It is the Civil War Sampler in the Civil War Videos with Jodi Davis or in January 2011 issue. There are five Louisana Blocks around the Center in various spots.

Are those the blocks like in the Civil War Quilt which are repeated to give the quilt balance, I guess?

Yes, I do like th exercise:) I also put my finished blocks downstairs, and run upstairs to continue and so on.

Go to Fons and Porters Love of Quilting, after creating an account if you don't have one. Then go to Magazines, and you will see all the issues there. Also, where you can get back issues, etc.

I just purchase Sta Flo, and just add water. It lasts a long time for a big bottle:)

Yes, I have one and it sure has saved me on purchasing blades as often. Although, if you have knicked or bent blades, you shouldn't use them in the sharpener. I like mine. I got it as a gift for Christmas, and it only takes 30 seconds.
