I didn't feel well enough to come home, but they said they like to release people ASAP to keep them from getting
It is difficult when they discharge you before you are ready. They kept me 5 days for the cat bite. I think it depends on whoever is writing the orders. As soon as you reach a certain criteria

Darlene--I am so sorry you have been going through all of this at once! You are really a strong woman. The shingles sound terrible, but you soldier on. Bless you.

Stephanie---have you posted a pic of your quilt you are working on? If so tell me where to find it. Great that you are picking up some UFO's. I have done a few things and I have a quilt to finish too. I am wanting to finish putting together the beautiful blocks but I need to buy fabric. I am still working on getting well. Going to the doc next week

Robin---the wedding looked so nice and your daughter is so pretty. Her husband is handsome too. A beautiful couple. I know you must feel better now that the wedding is over but some parts of the planning can be fun. The bridesmaids gifts were beautiful. A real keepsake.
Yes, Otis was my cat. He would have been 18 this year.
It's so hard to let them go. I miss my kitty, Ange, who was also 18 yrs old. She was so unhappy and not feeling well. She's in a better place and I'll see her again. My iguana, Toni, is so much more relaxed since Ange (I pronounced it Angie)

Darlene---my heart goes out to you for what you are going through? How can you not have panic attacks at this time. Many people do. Tell the doctor to try to be a little more sensitive toward his patients. Take a Xanax when you feel one coming on and do deep breathing or whatever helps. And If you are having a headache, take a pill and a anti-anxiety

I have had both restless legs and charlie horses. I tried so many things until I tried potassium. I take it twice a day and it solved all the problems. Good luck.
It has been a particularly hard year already for you.
Linny, you are right about that!!! Although I miss Ange, it's is also a relief since she was becoming so unhappy and needy. If she hadn't bitten me and put me in the hospital for 5 days, I wouldn't have done it so quickly. It was better all around

Hi All--------------------My typing is so slow now. Probably from the pain med. Did I mention that the doc used crazy glue to close the incision both times? It worked great. Robin, the wedding items you are making are beautiful. And the quilt for your Mom. You are such a giving talented. woman. Thanks everyone for your interest and well wishes. I feel
The surgery is scheduled for May 20. I hope I am not addicted to pain pills by then.
re Jo-that was my thought when I had to take Percocet before surgery because he said the neck should be done first. Try not to worry about it. My Physical therapist reminds me often that take what I need and it will drop as I
