Debbie-do, You saved the day. Jr has been feeling kind of left out lately. I showed him your baskets and he thought they were pretty neat, so we worked together and whipped one up for his grandma's Easter Basket. We'll finish putting the buttons on it after supper and I'll get a pic before Sunday. Judy, I Love the cat by your darling basket

Gini, I think we jumped the gun clearing those flower beds. Mine got s**wed on last night... :( Had robin in my crab apple tree this morning, and I swear he was chirping "They told me it was Spring! ...I can't believe they lied! If I wasn't so cold, I'd head south again." I just snagged DS1 and gave him a much needed hairs cut

I think of her daily, I have her things around me, which I bought, her sewing cabinet, her sewing machine, which I took with me

After washing my hair this mornin', I commented that I was due for a trim, the split ends were starting to get out of hand. DD piped up that she'd be happy to take an inch or so off, and I consented. Now it's 8" shorter... It was a lo-ong inch! Somewhere, off in the distance, I can hear our dear Diane laughing.

Thanks Karla. I'll be watching for it. Seems like we've all moved away from paper money in the last ten years. It'd be easier if I could accept Cred/debit cards. LOL MargeP and Quiltless, I got both of your deposits this week. I'll be heading down to town Mon or Tues and will get everybody's money safely banked and settle up the

My computer is really slow today...or maybe it's this sight. Not sure which... The boys are home today so my sewing time is sure to be frequently interrupted, but i hope to get some work done on the tropical Prism (decoy) lonestar this afternoon. If I am lucky I'll get the diamond units all assembled. I was shocked to get a letter from the new

Gosh, everybody is just falling apart at the seams around here! Praying for tickers and toes, and everything in between. Today I finally got DD's graduation quilt basted. I'm Not gonna get to take a stitch toward quilting it now until MAYBE the middle of next week. Then it has to be hidden away again until after Easter. DH couldn't seem

One thing's for sure...getting old ain't what it's cracked up to be. Golden Years, My Patoot. ... I'm sure not one of us thinks that we'll ever be that frail needy person that they are struggling to take care of now. I try not to delude myself. That's my future looking out of my Mother in Law's eyes. 40 years ago, she was
