    Wow, so many great ideas are here. I have a cat who believes she is a binding expert. When I begin to wind the binding on the paper towel cardboard center, she perks up and comes to help. As the binding comes off the roller, she grabs it and really increases the tension. To stop her from helping me so much, I have begun giving her a roller of her own

  • I'm new too

    I began about 3 years ago with a beginner's quilt class. I finally finished that quilt 2 years ago. I have acutally finished 3 quilts and have about 7 tops that I'm not sure are ready. My stash is not overly large as I don't have much room. I tell folks who come to visit they have to give me 2 days notice so I can move all the fabric out

    I asked the same question in a class. I was told it is because of insurance. If you have a picture of your quilt and it is named (proof is in the photo) then it is no longer a home made blanket. As such, if it is damaged, destroyed or stolen, you can file a claim. I have not asked my insurance company if that is true, but sounds reasonable to me. We
