  • Re: It has arrived...my Juki Virtuoso

I looked at my leaders and I don't have a place to put them through and with my arthritis having gotten so bad I am not sure it would be a good thing for me to try them. I can't even open my soda bottles anymore - the strength in my hands has gone really bad. I keep wondering what the RA will do next - so far I only have the super dry eyes syndrome

Elaine - when I was talking to Ebert he told me the eyelashes come mainly from your bobbin thread being too tight. Did you see where I posted that Youtube video about the tension of the bobbin. I loosened mine and got rid of the eyelashes. I had to tighten the top thread almost as tight as it would go for the 50wt thread I was using... I can send you

Nancee, You will be surprised how fast your business will grow. We had one woman in our area that didn't want a business and within about 6 months was overwhelmed - she finally put her foot down and said NO no more... She doesn't do it at all anymore. I have no want to do it for anyone else - I am hoping though that when we move up to Appleton

I think the problems with QCA is it is a one year subscription as far as I know - so they send out notices - I started getting Gold membership requests - I looked at it and it had nothing more then my premium membership - just a different name. I was upset though that I bought the magazine and then they sent me one but it was sent two months after it

One thing they charge for here too that you might think about is pressing. A lot of the backings that come to you need to be pressed and a lot of people don't press the seams on their quilts conducive to quilting them. You might put this in a contract that you sign with your customers - if you do it - it costs this - otherwise you request that the

Joyce - you should make a Christmas quilt. I love Christmas time when I bring out my quilts that are just used during that time. I do display some of my wall hangings that are about the birth of Christ all year long. They aren't up right now because we have taken most everything off the walls as we were going through the house filling in nail holes

I don't think it comes out to anyone until Nov but if I receive mine prior to then I'll let you know - my subscription wasn't up till Aug and I had to buy my fall magazine from the store - I didn't receive it from my subscription till the beginning of Sept - I was kind of upset but when the new one came I gave it to a friend from church

Has been a very busy day here - my head was doing good till I had to go outside and help DH with the tarp we bought to go over the back of the truck while I am on my retreat. We got industrial hook and loop tape to hold it to the sides so no rain would get through if it rains - but anything under it will be packaged so rain shouldn't bother - but

Jen, I love that material - I have some with the stars in it on blue - I think I have the red too - I am not a green person so probably didn't buy it in green unless it was for a quilt I was making at that time - Your blocks look big - what size are they. I hate photos cuz you never know a 6" block sometimes will look like it is 12" and
