    Judy, Are you sure you didn't get in my packed boxes and find the ones - about 10 of them full of blue fabrics - those look like some of mine...teehee Anything blue would be beautiful. I got my 114 flying geese done - amazed myself... I had thought I had enough of the 3" squares cut and pressed diagonally but had to cut another 30 to finish

    Diane, Thank you for the complement. I don't mind doing my handwork - It keeps me in my chair to watch the whole race or a whole movie when I do it. It doesn't take me very long - I learned at a very early age the blind hem stitch for doing hems on my clothing as a child so it really doesn't take me that long to do it... just right now the

    Joyce thank you for the kind words about my pain - most days it is just there and I can live with it - every once in a while it truly intrudes and I fear it won't go away at all but it usually subsides - the neuro stimulator was such a wonderful gift to my body.     Agnes your quilt is beautiful... I have a couple pictures to share of my cardinals... they are so precious to me as my best friend no longer with us loved cardinals and her DH passed just a few weeks ago - so I named these two Andy and Lori... I did do some cutting and pressing on the diagonal of the 3" black squares and may sew a few on my pieces

    Judy, Could you give me the exact address - I for some reason am unable to find it - I know Story Iowa but am trying to map it all out and figure out my route... I am going to try and stop and see some family in Early Iowa either on my way there or home... and is Barbara fully paid for the retreat? If not, please let me know so I can budget that in

    Dawn - when is the AQS show in Des Moines. We had our retreat at the same time a couple years back but the last two years we have scheduled it after because one of our members that comes works the show...I have been thinking that maybe I might come up this year - not sure - it will all depend on how I feel and if I can save any money - with the cost

    Okay, it is the middle of the night and pain awoke me - it will be a little time till the pain meds start taking affect so decided to get on the computer to try and take my mind away from it... We found out what the brown bird is ... I bet some of you have heard of it but I never had - it is a Brown Thrasher... very sweet song... Jay thought it was

    First, Donna - love the beehive wall hanging - are you going to take it to church and show the girls? 2nd... thank you for the complements on my pictures - it is so much fun - today I got one of a bird I have never seen before - I have to look up birds on the internet as I no longer have my book (packed) on Oklahoma birds. DH thinks it is a thrush
