• Cute as a Button Round Robin from the Crazy Art Quilter's Group - Linny's Block

Our group, the Crazy Art Quilter's group formed a Round Robin. There were 5 of us. I sewed together the patches and 4 other lovely ladies made it beautiful with their carefully placed artful embellishment. It was such a joy to get my block back in such a wonderfully altered state. I will treasure this block forever, not only for it's beauty...

  • One Block Wonder

I'm in love with the one block wonder. Such an easy quilt to make and the look is very cool. The original fabric is an asian looking fabric with Koi in it. I'll post a picture of the fabric next. I was going to cut out a bunch of the Koi and applique them going into and out of the quilt, but after putting the borders on, I'm thinking I like...

  • Joe's Block

This is a block from a quilt top I have just peiced together. It is one of 72 blocks that came together beautifully in the Pieces in Time pattern by Perkins Dry Goods. Since this is only my third big quilt and my 5th total I had wondered many times if I had bit off more than I could chew. I'm sure now I didn't because the finished product is...

  • Crayon Color Block Quilt

This 52 X 64 quilt is special because while we were living in TN, our family from OH often visited us. My neices and nephew liked for me to have a project or craft for them to do when they came. I decided a quilt would be nice and the kids enjoyed doing the blocks. I had planned on giving the quilt to my sister, the children's Grandmother, however...

  • My very first block

This is one of many blocks that I first made. I had no idea what I was doing. I didn't know about how to square up the "flying geese." I figured as long as I did all of them exactly the same way, no one would really know the difference. I have 60 of this types of blocks made from material that I had made my grandchildren Christmas Bears...

  • Stephanie's work on Diane's Block

I wanted to bring some of the lavender down from the center and created a little of a fantasy theme of hidden treasure. I also added some swarovski crystals in the eyes of the fish to give them some sparkle. Here's a pic of the block combined with Diane's block,Lillie's and my work.
