I have been a quilter since about 1995 "officially". I grew up playing with scraps of fabric and made a quilt when I was in jr. high school that is quite funny to look at now. I used to be passionate about crochet and cross-stitch but after I really started to quilt, that's all I wanted to do. I started a quilt ministry in KC called Quilts from Cornerstone that lasted about 10 years. When I moved to Council Bluffs, IA I started a new quilt ministry called Quilts from the Bluffs. This has been so much fun and a great way to meet new people and do something for the community as well. I have three children and two step-sons but they are all grown and not living with us. I work full time leading a team of BI Developers. This keeps me very busy but love to come home to balance out my analytical side with my creative side in my quilt studio. I am beginning a long-arm quilting business, Threads of Faith, and hope to build a great network of quilters while allowing me to retire someday.
