  • Wyatt's Work

My first grandchild was still-born last July. It was the most traumatic loss our family has ever experienced. We were able to spend a few hours with our little Wyatt. The bereavement nurse brought him to my daughter wrapped in a tiny quilt.  I inquired where the quilt came from and was told that a lady used to make them but moved. We discussed the need the hospital had for quilts and teddy-bears. I had no idea that in our city alone about 25 babies are still-born every year. And so my daughter and I began doing "Wyatts'  Work." We collect teddy-bears and make tiny quilts for the bereavement unit at our local hospital. Sad to say we have not been able to keep up with what the hospital needs so if anyone is interested in helping please email me.
