This is a picture of me and my husband on our fitth wedding anniversery . It will be fifty-one years at the end of the month. We have five children, twelve grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren. I have never sewed in my life until three years ago when I retired. My idea of sewing on a button was to use that plastic punch through thingy, or throw the item away if a pin wouldn't work. I retired three years ago, bought a Janome 11000SE, joined a group of women at my local sewing machine shop and now I am a project and quilt junkie. I still don't sew LOL. The women in my group have taken me under their wings and I am hooked.
