Hi all...new here. I have a dilemma/question. I lost my grandmother last year. She was 98, and an award winning quilter. She quilted totally by hand, haven taken classes many years ago with Amish. Anyway...she was working on a quilt for my grandson when she died. It is totally pieced,, and put together, top, bottom and batting, and is rolled up on her quilt frame. It is 8 feet long, the frame, and will accomadate a king quilt. It also has a smaller set up, if wanting to make it shorter. It is pictured on my avatar, with the quilt. I've inherited all of it. I am a fabulous seamstress, and although I do quilt, it is not my strong suit, and I have no time to finish it. Anyone know of a good quilter willing to quilt it for me, in trade for the quilt frame? I can "finish"it, and bind it. Please ask around, this is very sentimental to me, and my grandson. I want it finished, but dont feel i would honor her like a "real quilter", and my grandma deserves.
