I became interested in quilting in the late 70's when Quilter's Newletter started publication. I made a couple of baby quilts for my grandchildren and then put quilting on hold while I went back to school to get my accounting degree. After our children were all grown we both retired and moved to Tennessee for a few years. I had a wonderful time with the quilt groups there and made some really good friends, but we both got lonesome for the snow and the U.P. so we moved back here in 2007. Not as many quilt shops up here but working on some of those UFQ's make the winters go by quickly. Now I need to make more baby quilts for those great-grandchildren the keep arriving. Looking forward to making some more quilting friends at QCA. My computer skills need up dating because facebook and blogs seem to scare the daylights out of me!
