I learned to hand sew and embroider when I was just a little kid and have had a love of needle work all my life. I started quilting in the 70's when my girls were little (with Georgia Bonesteel and Elenore Burns on PBS) and have pretty much been a quilter since then. I suppose it was my Mom who taught me the love of needlework and the value of something made by hand.
