I watched my grandmother cut and hand piece quilts as a little girl. I am fortunate to have two of her quilts. My mother loved to embroider and quilt and left a legacy of baby quilts throughout our large family. I also have a hand pieced top from my other grandmother. They passed on the tradition to me and I started many years ago with small projects as I raised my family. Now retired, I spend a good bit of my time working on quilts for family, church, and charities.
