Quilts have always been a part of my life and I am lucky enough to have a few family quilts. So, it was natural to want to make quilts for my grandchildren, and I have been quilting ever since. I love looking at all kinds of quilts but I usually make more traditional patterns. When my husband wanted to move from our long-time home in New Mexico to an adult living community in the Hill Country of Texas, I knew there would be many quilters to ease me through the transition, and I have been pleased to make new friends while keeping in touch with my New Mexico quilting friends as well.
