Hi, My name is Wendy and I live in Utah at the foot of the Wasatch front Mountain Range of the Rockies. I am a school lunch manager at one of our local elementary schools. I am three years away from retirement. I am married with three boys. Two grown and one Johnny come lately who is still in school. I have been quilting for almost 17 years now. I am an avid gardener and am happiest when my hands are in the dirt. I love to grow things. I love the out of doors. I get away to the mountains every chance I get. My favorite colors are yellow and blue. I love love love paisley. I try to incorporate it into every quilt I make. My favorite type of quilting is traditional block quilting. Machine pieced. My latest thing is raw edge scene applique. My favorite colors of fabric to buy are Victorian themed, anything with tea cups or teapots, I usually buy fabric collections. I like everything to match. I am not a scrappy person. That is way out of my comfort zone. I do love to go to the fabric store and pull colors together to make a quilt. Fall is my most favorite time of year. I can't wait till I retire, so I can sit on the front porch swing and listen to the distant voices of the kids playing on the play ground. That is the most wonderful sound God Created. I love the crisp air and all the smells and colors.
