I made my first quilt when I was 19 - a tied baby animal quilt for first son - actually remade the quilt in 2007 for his 50th birthday! The batting inside was so ugly when I tore it apart - things have changed alot. I live in the beautiful Methow Valley in the state of the Washington. I love to quilt, counted cross stitch, hand embroidery (although not as good as my Grandma would have wanted me to) - favorite color is blue and favorite fabrics are Fossil Ferns. I have a nice quilting room with a Nolting 24 Pro long arm on a 12' frame. I have a Janome 6600 which I am still learning to use-also have a basic Janome 23L that has been a little workhorse for me. I have more fabric than a half dozen people need but what can I say! I have a problem!! I am married, have 3 children, 2 step children, 8 grandkids and 2 great grandkids. I appreciate every day and hope I live long enough to use alot of my fabric stash.
