I am retired from the 9 to 5 work world and spend time living on either side of the US and Canadian borders. In the summer I live with my husband, a Canadian, on a remote island in Saskatchewan. In the winters we live in the mountains of southern, central Pennsylvania. Many hours are spent in both locations piecing, sewing and making quilts. While quilting is my main love, I also enjoy other needlework projects and a few other interests like photography and refinishing furniture. It comes in handy to furnish the log house we are building on the island. I think perhaps I was a pioneer in a former life.
