Quilting is fairly new in my life and I find it challenging, rewarding and fun. My former employment with a park district placed me at our local senior center as the recreation coordinator. The quilting group soon became a delightful part of my job and they were determined to make me a quilter. It took twelve years but I am now hooked and Oh No I am again a fabric hoarder. When newly married and the years as a young mother I found making clothing a great money saver. That no longer interests me but cutting perfectly good fabric into small pieces to assemble an artistic gift for someone is awesome.
