About 20 years ago I went to a quilt show in Edzell Scotland, and I was hooked. I learned the basics of rotary cutting and sewing and made two quilts. Then life as it does took priority and the quilting went on the back shelf for 20 years. About a year ago, I learned that a lady in my Sunday School was an avid quilter. I didn't know her very well, but that was about to change. She was generous with her vast amount of knowledge, and I was once again hooked. Last Christmas I made 7 quilts for my various family members and haven't looked back. I am learning new sewing and quilting skills, and have made not one but two dear friends in the mix.
