Though I learned handwork like embroidery as a child and made my first quilt top in 1964 I did not officially start quilting until 1992. I became addicted but am finding my lust to finish as much as possible in as short a time as possible has recently changed to the slower methods like hand piecing and hand applique and enjoying the process.
