My husband and I have been married 32 years.. We have successfully raised 2 kids. I was able to be a stay-at-home Mom and am now an "on-call" Grandma! Which I love! Our son and his wife have 3 children, 2 boys and a girl in the middle of them. Our daughter and her husband have 2 girls and have just added a boy! They are all my joy. I am a self taught quilter. My grandmother died before she could teach me all she knew, which was a lot! I love the idea of making something that will keep my grandkids warm and give them memories of me when I am gone. Not that I plan to go anytime soon! I have completed 7 quilts of various sizes. I have made quilts for 4 of my grandkids and have 2 more to go . . .I am a fabric-aholic! I am so glad they sell fat quarters, fills my need for fabric at a reasonable price. My Husband is very supportive of my quilting. I have been learning EQ6 and that is a blast!
