Although I have sewn since I was a young girl, over the last few years I've been teaching myself quilting. I enjoy machine quilting, especially miniature and standard block construction. I'm just now getting into English Paper Piecing and would like to learn Foundation Paper Piecing. I just finished 3 quilts and 3 pillowcases to deliver them in, to our local veterans shelter downtown. I'm in the process of making 2 waving flag wall hangings, one of which will go to Nucor House which is a local home for returning veterans suffering from PTSD and TBI. My other interests include photography, NY Yankees/baseball and writing. Last year I published my first young adult fiction titled, "The Veterinary", now available on Amazon and Barnes & Noble.com. My husband and I live in western New York.
