Have been sewing since age 8, taught myself many crafts, started quilting in June of 2010 after my last chemo treatment for breast cancer. Grew up in southern New Hampshire & moved to Florida in 1999 to escape the snow & cold weather. l have always loved quilts, but don't remember much association with them until I started making my own. I am trying to rid myself of "Chemo Brain" and hope to keep Alzheimer's at bay and the special side effects are the beautiful quilts and gifts and a constant stream of new lessons to learn! May I never run out of gorgeous patterns & the fabrics to show them to their best advantage. .
