Texas gal who grew up playing in "tents" on the backyard clothesline under quilts my granny made. It's taken me, oh 40 years or so since that time to try quilting on my own but I guess I've always had it in my roots. I did hand quilt a quilt once upon a time but it took me a year of Sundays to finish it. Now that I have my new wonderful sewing machine I'm looking forward to learning more about piecing and free motion quilting
