I watched the Jenny Doan's video on Missouri Star Quilt Company for the Disappearing Hour Glass. So easy and quick to make.
I love your quilt, Judy! Now I want to try this pattern!
Judy, Love the quilt and pattern. The disappearing hour glass looks like stars! That will win me over every time!!
Wow so much to look at in this quilt!
Judy, you did a beautiful job making the quilt! I'm in the process of making it also. I'm having problems with matching the corner triangles when piecing the blocks together. The size does not seam to be consistent of the triangles. I have squared at the end of each step and it doesn't seem to matter. Do you have any tips that you would be willing to share?

I can't believe that I wrote "seam" instead of "seem". Too early in the morning. LOL
Pamela. It is crucial the hourglass block be cut into exactly 3 equal pieces each way. I made my HST and trimmed them to exactly 6-3/8". Sewed them together in the hourglass and made sure the block was then 12-3/4" square. You can now cut into 4-1/4" pieces strips each way. I have a rotating cutting mat which made it so much easier.
